The extra diameter allows us to increase the height of the 1000mm pots to 350mm allowing for the 3 or 4 funnel options to be both deeper and wider. Both top and bottom rings are both 12mm hot dip galvanised with 6mm chafe rope on both with the extra weight of the heavier rings reducing the chance of it rolling in strong currents. Extra heavy duty bait bags feature in the 1000mm pots to match the seriousness of the crabber that chooses these pots. The space inside the pots allows it to hold a substantial amount of crab while reducing the possibility of damage being inflicted on crabs while they’re securely held in the pot.
